The Leica Store San Francisco has been created with wood floors, brick walls and revealed structural elements, combined with Leica's black and red leather lined fixtures. The interior embodies both the heart of San Francisco and the beauty of Leica and the images that they produce.
Our first exhibit in our Leica Gallery is French Kiss, A Love Letter to Paris, by Peter Turnley. Peter will be lecturing on his work here in the gallery, on October 24th. He will also be available for book signing. The Leica Gallery will feature five to six exhibits annually.
Our lounge area easily converts to a classroom and lecture area as well as a shooting studio for many of the events which we will be hosting throughout the year. In addition to artist presentations, we will be hosting workshops on printing, editing and lighting as well as product demos and other related events.
Thoughtful consideration was given to the selection of the location for Leica Store San Francisco. We are located in Union Square at 463 Bush St, near the corner of Bush and Grant. We are adjacent to the restaurant Le Central and Chinatown Gate, only one half block from the Sutter Street garage. Our goal was to capture the essence of both Leica and San Francisco in an engaging environment. We hope that you will stop in and visit us!
